The family at this place was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We only booked for one night but ended up staying for a jaw-dropping 7 nights. They even found us a little fridge for our room. The room itself was super spacious and had a lovely balcony on both sides of the bed, which kept it nice and cool. The bathroom was absolutely stunning, large and immaculate, with an excellent shower. The location was also great, just a short 10-minute stroll down the main street to the beach. There were plenty of tuk-tuks and a bus stop right outside, as well as grocery stores and a supermarket nearby. A truly amazing experience and one of the best places I've stayed in this price range.

srimali's residence was a delightful surprise during my overnight stay in unawatuna. the friendly hosts, spacious rooms with balconies, and the best wifi on the island made for a comfortable and convenient experience. i highly recommend this hotel as your home away from home in unawatuna!

We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing residence. The location was perfect, with a great coffee shop, and the main tourist street just a stone's throw away. The room was comfortable, with both an air conditioner and a fan to keep us cool. The owner and his sons were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to extend our stay without any issues. The views from the room were stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere at the end of the tourist road was just what we needed. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and reliable, which was a big bonus for us as adventure travelers.

As women travelling alone, we loved the spacious and clean rooms with a king size bed and a super single. The huge toilet and the big balcony with French windows were great features. The delicious breakfast included a variety of options, including bread with jam and butter, local breakfast, and our favorite - pancake with coconut filling. They also served tea in a pot and changed the main dish every day, ensuring we never got bored. The owners, Madam Sako and her mother, were extremely helpful and made our stay enjoyable. The location was perfect, within walking distance to Unawatuna beach and the cool cafes and shops, all just 10 minutes away.

Exceptional: Best sleep ever in Sri Lanka. Spacious room, clean bathroom, and a lovely terrace. Location is great, right by the bus stop so I can avoid those pesky tuk tuk drivers. Amazing value for money!

The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with spacious rooms and spotless bathrooms. One of the highlights was the delicious and freshly cooked breakfast, which offered a varied selection every day. The staff, especially the family who owns the hotel, were extremely helpful and spoke English fluently. They went above and beyond to assist us, even using their own tuk-tuk to take us to the train station when we left. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in front of the bus stop near the main road. It was also conveniently close to the Unawatuna bus station and just a short walk to the beach. We were able to enjoy the nearby shops, restaurants, and cafes, while still being able to retreat to a peaceful and quiet space away from the beach bars.

The hotel also provided delicious meals and even organized exciting excursions. The location was convenient, with restaurants and the beach within walking distance. The good internet connection was a plus. I highly recommend this hotel for its amazing hospitality and value for money.

No WiFi in the 3rd floor room, but it's available in the public areas. Traffic can be a bit disturbing during the day.
